Pressure-washing software readiness

Do you need pressure-washing software yet?

The useful threshold is not revenue, age, or whether competitors use Jobber. It is whether coordination problems now cost more than a simple system can absorb.

Short version: if you still quote, schedule, invoice, and follow up reliably without duplicate entry or missed work, a lean setup may be the economically better answer.

Seven signals that the upgrade may be justified

  1. Quotes are becoming a queue. You are revisiting photos, measurements, notes, and old messages just to reconstruct what a prospect asked for.
  2. Follow-up depends on memory.Estimates go cold because nobody has a reliable next-action list.
  3. Jobs move between people.Once someone besides the owner needs the address, scope, price, notes, and status, a shared job record starts earning its keep.
  4. Route changes create phone-tag.Weather, cancellations, and add-on work force repeated calls or texts to keep the day coherent.
  5. You enter the same information more than once.Lead → quote → calendar → invoice should not require four independent retypes.
  6. Customers expect a cleaner booking experience.Online request forms, reminders, deposits, and status updates can become revenue tools rather than administrative decoration.
  7. You can name the payoff. You know roughly how many admin hours or recovered jobs would make a subscription worthwhile.

Signs you should probably stay lean

You are solo, job volume is still modest, estimates are highly custom, and the owner already knows every open job. In that stage, adding software can simply create another place to maintain data.
