About Enoughware

Software advice should be allowed to say “you do not need it yet.”

Enoughware is an independent recommendation site for very small service businesses across field service, appointment-based work, and professional services. Its job is to identify the smallest software setup that solves the business's actual operating problem.

Why it exists

Software comparisons usually begin after the most important decision has already been made: the reader is assumed to need a product in the category. Enoughware moves that decision upstream. It asks whether the problem is large enough to justify a subscription, whether a lightweight stack is still sufficient, and only then compares products.

What we are testing first

Enoughware has a general software-readiness assessment for small service businesses, then goes deeper one workflow at a time. Cleaning and pressure washing are the first vendor-level models because they stress the recommendation system differently. Cleaning emphasizes recurrence and cleaner coordination. Pressure washing emphasizes quote complexity, routing, field work, and follow-up. Other service businesses can use the general architecture assessment today while Enoughware expands its deeper research based on demand.

How Enoughware may make money

Enoughware may earn referral commissions from some software vendors. Commercial relationships are kept outside the fit-scoring rules. A non-paying or free product can outrank a paying partner. See the commercial disclosure and editorial policy.

What this is not

Enoughware does not claim exhaustive market coverage, hands-on testing of every product, or individualized professional advice. Vendor facts are researched and dated; product-fit scores are editorial judgments based on the published methodology.
