EWEnoughware Editorial policy Independent beta

Editorial policy

Recommend the smallest system that solves the expensive problem.

Enoughware exists to right-size software, not maximize the number of subscriptions a visitor buys.

01

Need before brand

We first ask whether the workflow problem is expensive enough to justify dedicated software.

02

Primary sources first

Pricing, plan limits, and documented features should come from current vendor documentation whenever available.

03

Commercial firewall

Affiliate payout data is kept outside the product-fit score and cannot add ranking points.

How rankings are built

Each industry has an architecture stage and a vendor stage. Architecture rules determine whether a lightweight stack or dedicated platform is justified. Vendor rules then compare only products that fit that operating model.

What we will not fake

We will not describe a product as easy, reliable, pleasant to use, or well-supported based only on marketing copy. Those claims require hands-on testing or sufficiently strong independent evidence.

Pricing dates and corrections

Time-sensitive facts should carry a research date. If a material fact is found to be wrong, the public page should be corrected and the underlying product database updated rather than quietly preserving an outdated claim because it converts well.

How affiliate relationships work

Commercial relationships are disclosed separately. The existence or size of a commission cannot increase a fit score. See the commercial disclosure for the planned monetization policy.
